Platform policies

Clear rules for both sides.

Facioneer's policies are designed to protect professionals and clinics equally. No surprises.

Clinic cancellation policy

Cancelled 48+ hours before shift Full refund
Cancelled 24–48 hours before 25% of wages to the professional (min. 2h pay)
Cancelled 2–24 hours before 50% of wages to the professional (min. 2h pay)
Cancelled <2 hours before, or clinic no-show 100% of wages to the professional

If a shift doesn't happen, no platform fee is charged. The professional's share compensates reserved time; see the Terms for the full cancellation policy.

Professional cancellation & no-show

Cancelled 24+ hours before shift No penalty
Cancelled <24 hours before −10 reliability points
No-show (no cancellation) −15 reliability points

Two or more late cancellations within 30 days trigger an automatic 14-day suspension. Repeated no-shows can lead to suspension. On a no-show the clinic is refunded in full, including the platform fee.

Payment timeline

Shift completed → pro submits timesheet → clinic approves on their schedule → Stripe charges clinic automatically → funds arrive in your account.

Paid on approval

your pay is released when the clinic approves your timesheet; bank timing depends on Stripe and your bank, typically a few business days

Each clinic sets their own approval schedule (same day to 5–7 days) — visible on every shift listing before you accept. Once the clinic approves, Stripe charges their account automatically and your payment is released — reaching your bank on Stripe's payout schedule, typically a few business days. Facioneer never sees or stores your banking details.

Dispute resolution

When clinic and professional disagree on hours worked or shift details:

1 Both parties submit their record within 48 hours of shift completion
2 Facioneer reviews both submissions as quickly as possible
3 The decision is communicated in writing to both parties

All shift activity is audit-logged at 13 data points per action. When a dispute arises, the record is there to review.
